General Ludwig Beilschmidt, a trained Nazi officer walked to his quarters. As soon as the door was shut he swiftly made is way to his desk, and sighed
"The days are just getting longer..." He said bluntly to no one specific, He buried his face in his hands that were propped up on the desk.
"It's lonely here without you, bruder.... ", The officer got up to go to his dorm by the entry hall, fleetly retreating from the room. He made his way out of the door and down the stretched hallway.
Once he got to the entry hall he came to see a young girl with her backed turned to him, staring intently at the German flag clinging to the wall with pride. She heard the clank of combat boots, and spun around "Guten Tag, General Beilschmidt!", she said with a soft smile on her face.
"Oh, hallo Fräulein." Ludwig said kindly forcing a smile. "General." the 8 year old girl
